Do you find it hard to connect with some children or families, especially the “difficult” ones? Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what the children in your care were really asking from you. This reflective approach will teach you how to understand children’s needs and behaviors. Caregivers will learn how to understand their children’s emotional world by learning to read their emotional needs and how to support their children’s ability to successfully manage feelings. This is a reflective approach so expect a lot of discussion and participation.
