Canton Township Emergency Assistance
Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (closed 12 p.m.-1 p.m.), and Friday  8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (closed 12 p.m.-1 p.m.) One-time payment of up to $500 to keep power/other utilities on or halt eviction procedures. Applicant must first apply to township general assistance. If they do not qualify they will be screened for emergency assistance. Households must make below $700 a month.
